Junior Parents Weekend strives for realistic view

When the students return to the cam pus follow ing the Christinas holidays, they w ill be joined by a newly appointed professor. No, not a Notre Dame p r o f e s s o r , b u t H u b e r t H u m p h r e y , f o r m e r vice-president o f the United States who w ill be here to take part in the Indian Conference. Humphrey’s address in Stepan Center at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, w ill highlight the four-day conference seeking to understand the plight o f the American Indian. A ll other activities w ill take place in smaller groups to allow fo r more interaction between the speakers and the audience. These other programs w ill take the form o f either talks and dis­ cussions in the Library auditor­ ium or addresses to individual classes.
